Luxury lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger was founded by the American fashion designer of the same name. Through the years Tommy Hilfiger has created luxury products that include; perfume, denim wear and sports wear.

Tommy Hilfiger took fashion design courses from the Elmira Free Academy and the GST BOCES Bush Campus for Fashion Design. At 18 he started working in retail through buying-and-selling of jeans and bell bottom pants that he would customize. This was his introduction to clothes design that eventually resulted to creations of luxury clothes and the beginning of the Tommy Hilfiger Corporation in 1992. The first luxury products introduced was the signature menswear collection, which then extended to other clothing lines.
